What can our microgrid power?
Four main components
Our turnkey microgrid is designed to be quickly implemented in the field without unnecessary features. While it’s made up of multiple components, here are the four main components.

Our system utilizes solar PV (Photovoltaic) energy to power the system and the appliances. With both ground mount and roof mount options available, the solar array can be installed to maximize power delivery. The number of panels can be customized to fit the use case and to optimize cost.

We rely on smart inverter technology in order to reduce size, weight, while optimizing performance. Our hybrid inverters rely on MPPT technology, Pure Sine Wave output, as well as high efficiency energy conversion. The inverters can be stacked to provide higher power output.

Our system utilizes LiFePo batteries to minimize weight and size while optimizing the energy storage capabilities.. These batteries have high storage capabilities, long life cycle, and longer maintenance intervals, which makes them the perfect choice for an off-grid and remote applications. Our batteries can be stacked to provide a higher storage capacity to meet your energy needs.

Our monitoring system is built upon a Raspberry Pi4 architecture and connected to the cloud through a cellular modem. The monitoring system can work in both online mode, where the data we monitor is instantly published to the cloud, as well as an offline mode, where the data we monitor is saved on a local storage drive.

Atutu’s solar microgrids can be equipped with IOT monitoring, reporting, and control capabilities and can deliver up to 10kW of power with up to 30kWh of storage.
Designed for long term performance by utilizing monitoring and reporting technologies, we are able to diagnose and improve the performance and health of our system throughout the lifetime of the project.
Our systems have the ability to:
report how much energy has been generated and delivered which can be used for carbon footprint calculations
indicate which components need to be changed to optimize system performance over time
serve as a wifi station for users who need internet access*
